L'ASUS ROG MAXIMUS Z690 HERO è una scheda madre ATX con il chipset di fascia alta Intel Z690 ed il socket LGA 1700. La scheda madre è adatta per processori desktop della 12a/13a generazione di CPU Intel Core, Alder Lake e Raptor Lake. Supporta la memoria DDR5 fino a 6.400 MHz e, grazie alle sue fasi di alimentazione, è l'ideale per l'overclocking.
Nota: questa scheda madre supporta la RAM con lo standard DDR5! Per le migliori prestazioni possibili, si consiglia di eseguire regolari aggiornamenti del BIOS per la scheda madre. Questo è particolarmente vero per le schede madri che potrebbero essere state fornite dal produttore con una prima versione del BIOS.
